CHATGPT INTEGRATED IN THE PEUGEOT i-COCKPIT

Peugeot is one of the first brands to enhance its onboard voice recognition feature using ChatGPT. 

Your Peugeot can now verbally provide information on places, history, artists, technology, cooking, travel advice… anything you can think of! It can also invent stories for your kids or create quizzes on your favourite topics.*

Thanks to the integration of ChatGPT in the Peugeot i-Cockpit, you can safely talk with your voice assistant while keeping your eyes on the road and your hands on the steering wheel. No touch interaction with your infotainment screen and all of this is completely secure to protect your privacy.**

**ChatGPT is integrated in the Peugeot i-Cockpit using the audio and voice recognition system of its third party partners, including SoundHound. Being an Artificial Intelligence language model, it is developed to generate human-like responses based on deep learning, but as this is a new and developing technology, the answers or information provided may not be totally accurate, correct or objective. Peugeot  integrates ChatGPT to enhance the Peugeot i-Cockpit's voice recognition capabilities.

Chat about any topic when driving through the city or on a road trip.

For example, you could say: "OK Peugeot, could you tell me about the Sydney Opera House ?" or “OK Peugeot, what can I visit while in the Gold Coast ?”.

Just remember that asking for real time information (such as sport results, breaking news or if a shop is open now) are not questions that chat GPT 3.5 can answer as it uses data up to January 2022, and has no knowledge of events and data after this date.

ChatGPT is available to all customers (including existing owners) of new 208 and 2008, 308, 308 SW, 408, new 508, 508 SW, Partner, Rifter, Expert and Traveller, and in a few months new 3008 and 5008.

Your vehicle needs to be equipped with the embedded voice recognition feature (you can check if your car has this feature by saying ‘OK Peugeot’ or by pressing the dedicated button on your steering wheel - and your car will respond to you).

You also need an active Connected Navigation Pack subscription.​ You can check this in the ‘Services’ section of your MyPeugeot app, or by signing in at the top of this page. If it's not active, you can activate it by clicking here:

If your vehicle matches the criteria listed above, please sign in and click on the « Activate Now » button. Then, follow the steps proposed, go onboard, start the engine and make sure to be in an area covered by a strong mobile signal. An automatic wireless ¨Over the Air¨ update will enable ChatGPT in your Peugeot i-Cockpit.*

The service is active when you receive a confirmation via email, so just say “OK Peugeot” and you are ready to start chatting.  

Note that the usage period is linked to the remaining time of your Connected Navigation Pack contract: if this expires before the ChatGPT one, it will be necessary to renew your Connected Navigation Pack to continue using ChatGPT in your Peugeot i-Cockpit.
